Bali is a true paradise and I loved practicing yoga on the beach or anywhere outside there. I thought the backdrop of this infinity pool would make for some interesting images so I tried a few asanas while balanced on the hidden 6 inch wide side of the pool. The drop in one direction wouldn’t have a problem at all, but a fall the other way would have been a lot less fun. Anyway I really enjoyed the challenge and the optical illusion you get from positioning the camera just so. This location was in Candidasa, but Ubud attracts far more attention for its yogi’s, yogini’s and yoga lifestyle. I also took my first surfing lessons on Bali and had a ton of fun mucking around in the waves. Good thing they were small – like having training wheels…
