Rio – just magic. One of my fave days ever was climbing the Sugarloaf and the Corcovado both rather than taking trams, buses or other standard transport. The quality of the climbing is world class and the views can’t be beat. Something really fun about coming up the steep rock face and climbing over the railing onto a crowded platform chock-a-block full of surprised tourists. Scariest part of the day was hands down the hairball motorcycle ride at warp speeds between the two rock massifs. Hang-gliding another day was also just amazing and what way to see this incredible city. Oh yeah and did someone say “beaches?” I love Rio!!!
